Date: Mon, 11 Jun 2007 23:10:32 -0400 (EDT) To: mouseware Subject: moussh at 20070511 New in this version: - Text typo fixes: INSTALL, alg-lists, algs.h, moussh.1. - Makefile machinery to get NEW_CMSG_INTERFACE right automatically in more cases. - Actually use scm-rights.h where appropriate. - Improved comments: agent-server.c, scm-rights.h, userauth-conn-s.c. - Bugfix for a way -authkey could crash the client. - -share-drop, filling out the logical possibilities started by -share-kill and -share-stop (ie, "stop the server, yes or no" cross product with "drop existing clients, yes or no"). (Yes, I actually had a use for this, odd as it may seem.) This also implies some related infrastructure elsewhere. - Remove an unnecessary #include. - Slight improvements in rnd.c (fallback when /dev/{u,}random is not available, and compile-time test for something the code assumes). - Add an AUTH verbosity type, showing user-authentication stuff. - There's an RCS symlink in the source directory. This doesn't matter unless you have something at the place the link points to. (Yes, I'm now keeping the code under RCS.) The -share-drop change does produce a slight binary incompatibility: a new client will not be able to use -share-kill, -share-stop, or -share-drop on a sharing server running the old code; conversely, an old client will not be able to use -share-kill or -share-stop on a sharing server running the new code. Given how (I imagine) connection sharing is used, I don't expect this to be a significant issue. /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse@rodents.montreal.qc.ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B
